Safeguarding

At Barkston Ash Catholic Primary School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.  We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We endeavour to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children are respected and valued. We will act quickly and follow our procedures to ensure children receive early help and effective support, where needed.

We use the CPOMS system to log any Safeguarding concerns or incidents, ensuring that these are shared with the NYSCB, where required.
